Palagonite is a unique rock mineral that is derived from an ancient volcanic deposit. It is characterized by its high CEC (cation exchange capacity), which means that it can hold and buffer a large number of nutrients. Palagonite also contains a wide range of trace minerals, making it a valuable addition to any soil.

How to use Palagonite:

Palagonite can be applied to the soil or foliarly. When applying to the soil, the recommended application rate is 1/2 to 2 tablespoons (7 grams to 42 grams) per 5 liters of soil. When applying foliarly, the recommended application rate is 1 to 2 teaspoons (5 grams to 10 grams) per liter of water.

Note: While studies have demonstrated that it's quite hard to "overdo" Palagonite, soils that have previously used it in recent crop cycles will do better using the lower application rates. Fresh soils have shown great benefit when used at the higher rates to get things kick started, and to absorb extraneous Nitrogen.
