With uniform light distribution, hotspots are avoided and even growth is encouraged because every plant receives the same quantity of light. The photon effectiveness of a lighting system measures the quantity of light energy (measured in micromoles) that is delivered per unit of power consumed. Treegers offers extremely high light output with fixture efficacy of up to 3.1 μmol/J, utilizing diodes with an efficacy of up to 4.35 μmol/J on the GL+ fixtures.
